CHANGE ISN’T EASY BUT IT’S UNAVOIDABLE

CHANGE ISN’T EASY BUT IT’S UNAVOIDABLE

Left to himself man becomes decadent. A contented life is not a matter of good fortune. If you leave things to chance don’t be surprised when they don’t work out to your advantage. Life is not a game of chance.
In the affairs of life there are two measurable things; effort and result. The result will rarely be less than the effort, but time and again much larger. Mankind are anxious to improve their circumstances yet unwilling to change their ways.
He continually revolts against effect ‘without’ while continuing to harbor cause ‘within’. The causes are many. They can be material but the worst by far is a root of bitterness. It has defiled millions.
The desire for improvement is often frustrated by self doubt and jealousy. Spiritual integrity must be foremost and maintained at all times. The most destructive thing a man can engage in is pornography. It pollutes the mind and cancels out his potential in the eyes of his maker. We need to take up our cross daily if we want Him to show us the way. Aimless idleness is a formula for disaster. It’s catastrophic. Every living creature in God’s creation toils. The sin of Sodom was an abundance of idleness. Those who have no measurable purpose in life are easy prey for the world the flesh, and the devil. You must have goals. Spiritual first, then the material and physical will follow naturally. Matt 6:33.

We need to focus our thoughts on Him, and devote our energy towards His will, and stop wandering aimlessly. He that wanders from the way of understanding shall dwell in the congregation of the dead. Prov 21:16. Children act out their dreams, watch them as they play. Sadly they will lose that innocence as they grow up.
Our humanistic educational system stifles imagination and scorns the efforts of all but a few. It produces more losers than winners, multitudes of failures; and miserably few successes. I think the greatest disappointment in life would be to know that I might have succeeded if I had tried a little harder but I never did. In life there are choices and options. An option is something you have the choice of doing something with. Choice is the freedom to act.

In business An Option is the privilege to either buy or sell at a specific price in a specified time-frame. Preference is a selection of something over another. We talk about someone having ‘first option’. You have choices and options in life. You don’t have to accept the circumstances life has dished out to you. If you hate your job change your occupation?

You can do it if you try. Retrain for what you always wanted to do. You’re never too old. He that wanders out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead. Michael Angelo was 90yrs old when he painted the Sistine Chapel. Noah Webster; Winston Churchill; Colonel Sanders were all late bloomers. Millions have done it. You can too it’s up to you?

Yes, you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. Fact over fiction: You were chosen to become a disciplined one. The Devil is never going to give you anything but grief. Keep your integrity intact. If you advance by any other means it will come back to haunt you. Learn to listen to Christ. Stop telling yourself what you can't do.

We all have to compete whether we want to or not. Put your trust in Christ and lean wholly upon Him. See yourself as Christ sees you 2 Cor 3:18. He has and will continue to change you. Believe in your God given potential. Abort failure by listening to God and ignoring losers. Some things are common to every successful person.

Strong desire: “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them” Mark 11:24. You’ve been given a specific goal. It’s to be conformed to the image of Christ. Time frame:

Now is the time. They wrote it down. They developed a plan to achieve their goal. They counted all things that they weren’t receiving a spiritual return from as dung Phil 3:8. Yea doubtless, and I count all things loss for the excellent the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them as dung that I may win Christ. You need to think about His goal for your life every day. This shouldn’t be hard with Him at your side gently goading you.

Five things we all need to know are He makes all our mountains a ‘way’. Isa 49:11 And I will make all my mountains a way, and my highways shall be exalted. Make a commitment. Goals turn desires into doers. Wanters turn into receivers and getters. Have a He’s done for me list’. Write it down.
It allows you to measure your progress. Desire enables endurance. Become a true believer. Dreams are one of the most powerful tools you have.
Have a prayerful desire is the pathway to winning. It costs you nothing to Dream. Treat people the way you want to be treated. Never give up. Churchill didn’t. Just because you failed one time doesn’t mean you’re a failure! It just means you haven’t succeeded yet because God has a better way than yours.

God has set some in His Body as special functionaries. If you are faithful in that which is another’s you will be given that which is your own. You won’t spend your whole life fulfilling another’s dreams? Don’t pass your use-by-date.
If you’re unfaithful in that which is another man’s you’ll never get that which is your own. You could if you wanted too because He has many vacancies in His operation.

As Samuel grew he needed a larger garment year by year (mantle). Walt Disney employed Imagineers. The best dreams are shared dreams. He sent them two by two. People who have no God given dreams are easy prey for the deceiver. A man's reach should exceed his grasp. It’s called hope. Jesus said “who touched me”. He is touched by the feelings of our longings for Him as well as our infirmities. Reach out and touch the Lord. The pole-vaulter became world champion because he kept setting his bar higher. You can learn from others.

Watch ‘The Man of La Mancha’ Don Jan Quixote; Sanchez and Dulcennia. We are not machines so keep it simple. Focus on personal activities that God has given you to do. Manage activities that are spiritual and they will produce prolifically. Create little successes. Break big jobs down into small ones. How do you eat an Elephant? A bite at a time. Don't get buried under paper. Plan simply. Be brief. Don't compound confusion. Use what God has given you. Dream big but keep it simple. A winning attitude is one that stays close to God and stops making excuses. If God be for you and He is who can be against you?

Be enthusiastic even if you don't feel like it. Stop looking for reasons to quit. It's human to worry. Most fears never happen. Pass you negatives over to God and not to your family; or to your friends, if you want to keep them. Fruit is not the root. The root stem and branch is Christ. Think positively.

Philippians 4:8-9, Finally brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. Some people continually drain your battery; avoid them, unless they change. Vision imparts purpose to life. If it’s worth doing do it wholeheartedly. You can't do everything.

Pick one thing to start with and it will go far. Stop looking for pats on the back and you’ll be far more useful to God. Be flexible and ready to change; learn to roll with the punches. Find yourself a hero. That shouldn't be hard for a Christian. Play scared. Don't be scared. Don't sit around until paralysis sets in. Over-comers’ are just that. Winners did it. Keep your priorities straight. Don't compromise your integrity. Handle your money wisely by being a good steward. Make giving a way of life.

The selfish never get what they need in life. Get your priorities in order. Keep your balance between Business life; Spiritual life; and Family life. Some men worship their accomplishments instead of God. Don’t procrastinate. Don't put your life on hold waiting to find out it will never come to you that way. Don't pull back and think your saving yourself from disappointment. Time runs out.

The decision is yours. Time is something that’s measured and never lost. The Record of How You Used It Will Always Be There for others to see. Some things we all need to know. You never get used to rebuffs. So get over it and go again. Remember God’s on your side. Things are never as good or as bad as they seem so don’t be complacent or get complicated. Before things can get better they’ve got to be bad. Before you can become good you gotta be a lost cause. Before you can become victorious you got to have been a loser. Your integrity with the Christ in all things will bring you through.

Five things that impede our progress are the cares of this World; you’re concept of God; Impatience born of fear; the deceitfulness of riches; the delusions of the soul of man. You may as well find a spade dig a hole, buy a lily for yourself, then go and lie down in it.

Three things to do in secret are Pray-Fast- and Give. When you do them God has promised to reward each of them openly. Finally, your life is limited.

Don’t waste it living someone else’s dream. Stop comparing yourself, you’re unique. Walt Disney surrounded himself with Imagineers. Seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses let us run the race looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. http:
