Medical promises - a pill - Part 1

 How can we come to think that some pill containing one or more chemical s or imitations of a nutrient can be the same as you would get from real foods?      That is the question...

Real raw food is more than just the sum of of it's parts!

Just because some scientists looking at the reductionism of foods - concocted in a lab;  theorize that these are the same as real food nutrients. { It is not true!}
 There are many studies with examples between  food nutrient parts and synthetics and the whole natural food networks...  But unfortunately, actual "clinical evidence" {That which actually happens with real people in real life} is frequently not accepted as  "Proof" in scientific circles...  They only want lab proofs with some controlled simulations - yet these may not be the actual proof they think or need!

With over half of the people in North America  taking multivitamins /minerals supplements you would think everyone is in great shape...   But rather than this being a true blessing;  most have just covered up the symptoms  but not cured the cause.
  An NIH expert concluded that :
" The present evidence is insufficient to recommend either for or against the use of multivitamins/minerals by the American Public to prevent chronic disease."   Plus some of these may have side effects...   This includes not only single multivitamins and " fortified " foods ...    {Which is another way to say they do not know!}

Yet there are no side effects occurring when eating untampered-with  real foods...
 There is plenty of solid evidence to support the fact that real foods do have actual health benefits...
Which is what we should all want...

First by preferring to eat mainly true foods; and avoiding the crap pushed off on the public for profit!

  -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Table:   {as of 2006}

- 73 % of Americans take dietary supplements

- 4% who experienced any adverse reaction
{mostly hi-potency, synthetic,contaminated, altered, or caused allergic reactions}

- Sales of dietary supplements  $21 billion

- Sales of Pharmaceutical drugs $200 billion

- Number in the US that died from taking Prescription drugs (2005)  - 5,107

- Number of people who suffered a serious or adverse reaction resulting in disability, hospital cars, or birth defects (2005)  - 89,842

Theses figure represent a  2.7 times increase in only 8 years.
The FDA received reports of a total of  467,809 deaths and/or serious adverse reactions between 1998 and 2005.
