Worth of words

« on: Today at 01:38 GMT »

" Words have power, the use of words has created worlds and cursed nations... Be careful how you speak and what you say! "

a True-ism

Oh, if we only could come to understand the importance of our spoken & written words! This is a lesson that I have came to learn!

The tongue is difficult to tame or control! The people of today's society are almost all rebellious, and proud; they only give lip-service with outward subjection to others... Words are the outlet of the heart! Remember God looks for heart obedience!

Most of the pleasing words of praise; are but preludes of flattery made to gain some thing or to make one appear in a better light! The world tends to use and rely on false or misleading statements to sell you something or to get a point across.... This is true in many Ads, TV, laws, business, government treaties, down to the lowest social levels... Much is due to slanderous words!

Many people today will not say anything to a person's face, yet will revile the same person behind his/her back; thus rebellion is quickly expressed by their tongue! Rebellion or disrespect usually manifests it self in slanderous words... Like people will generally mix with those whom they share the same desires... This can be in clubs, gangs, teams, religious or any other social groups... It is like a meeting of minds, people tending to join with those who share the same rebellious spirit! While this is not so with all groups, it is certainly true in most rumor or slanderous actives of many people!

The lust of the the mouth speaks reviling words!
